Dulles, Disney, Mengele, and the Spellbound Child as a Tool of Statecraft
In the aftermath of World War II, an invisible war for control of the human mind began to unfold.
Project MK-Ultra was the CIA’s notorious program into “brain warfare” – a series of covert experiments exploring hypnosis, drugs, torture, and other techniques to break and remake a subject’s psyche.
Launched in 1953 under Director Allen Dulles, MK-Ultra was driven by Cold War paranoia that communist “brainwashing” had rendered U.S. POWs into puppets. Ironically, to fight this “battle for men’s minds”, the CIA betrayed American values and conducted appalling human experiments on unwitting victims.
Prisoners, psychiatric patients, even children in state schools were used as guinea pigs for behavior modification via LSD overdoses, electroshock, sensory deprivation and worse.
Gangster Whitey Bulger, dosed with LSD in prison, recalled “horrible periods of living nightmares…blood coming out of walls… [feeling] like I was going insane”.
The stated goal was to create programmable Manchurian Candidates – indoctrinated assassins or spies who could be controlled and then made to forget, leaving no trace.
Yet MK-Ultra was shrouded in extreme secrecy.
When Congress began to investigate in the 1970s, the CIA destroyed most MK-Ultra records to conceal its full scope.
Only fragments emerged, hinting at dozens of sub-projects ranging from mind-altering chemical cocktails to abuse of children for “psychic driving” experiments.
This clandestine research didn’t simply vanish when MK-Ultra was shut down. According to alternative researchers, it went deeper underground – evolving into what’s now known as Project MONARCH.
Monarch is said to be a “black ops” continuation of MK-Ultra’s darkest arts, refined for a more pernicious purpose: not just interrogating enemies, but creating total mind-controlled slaves.
“MK Ultra style programming starts with torture…The subject must believe they are about to die, causing the mind to shatter. Later the programmer will collect fragments into separate personas.”.
These chilling words, attributed to an intelligence insider, describe the essence of Monarch programming.
Project Monarch allegedly perfected trauma-based mind control – a method to intentionally induce Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) in a victim by repeated abuse and terror from infancy.
The victim’s psyche, unable to endure, splinters into “alters” (multiple personalities) that can then be molded and used.
Monarch programming does not happen by accident; it requires carefully orchestrated sadism.
As one survivor put it,
“Programming seeks to destroy love, hope, trust… It must shatter the life force of a person, their sense of self. The victim must know they are absolutely nothing”.
Out of this “soul murder” emerges a being who will obey commands, like a human robot, while the core personality is tucked away in an amnesic cage.
Fritz Springmeier, a controversial researcher who blew the doors open on these programs, writes that Monarch was designed to create “total mind-controlled slave[s]”—undetectable even by the victims themselves.
The name “Monarch” itself comes from the monarch butterfly, a symbol of transformation: the caterpillar’s metamorphosis into a butterfly is a metaphor for the victim’s programmed mind.
Under Monarch, the subject’s very identity is broken down and reshaped, just as a butterfly’s old self dissolves in the chrysalis.
Handlers then manipulate the new “butterfly” – the alter personalities – at will.
Early phases of Monarch programming echo MK-Ultra’s brutality: “physical torture…with careful use of drugs and electroshock that leave few scars”, combined with extreme psychological trauma.
Infamously, Dr. Josef Mengele (dubbed “Dr. Green” by survivors) – a Nazi doctor brought to the U.S. under Operation Paperclip – is alleged to have been a key architect of Monarch programming in America.
Children would be “guided through journeys in a fantasy dreamworld” while under torture, as programmers exploit the natural imaginative dissociation of a child.

According to Fritz Springmeier:
“Alice in Wonderland was used for Illuminati families. MK Ultra liked to use The Wizard of Oz. Monarch often uses modern Disney stories”, essentially tailoring the hallucinations to the child’s interests.
The purpose is to create an “internal fantasy world” – an elaborate mental landscape (complete with castles, forests, talking animals, etc.) where alters can be hidden and accessed.
Survivor testimonies describe how every fairy tale and nursery rhyme can be weaponized.
For instance, a programmer might evoke Alice’s journey “through the looking glass” to cue a victim to dissociate into an alter (more on that in coming chapters).
A seemingly innocent phrase like “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” from The Wizard of Oz can be a post-hypnotic trigger to lead a slave into a programmed mission or into “obedience mode” – their mind following the pre-laid path just as Dorothy followed the magical road.
In 1940s, Walt Disney studios produced films used in early programming; even Dulles and CIA paid attention to Disney’s occult imagery.
Researchers note Disney was deeply interested in esoteric and occult topics.
Decades later, survivors consistently mention Disney movies (like Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty) being used to induce trances or code specific alter personalities.
While MK-Ultra was a government-run program, Monarch programming straddles the shadowy line between state actors and clandestine private networks.
The “Illuminati” – a term often used by whistleblowers to denote elite occultist bloodline families – allegedly adopted Monarch techniques to traumatize their own children from birth, ensuring generational loyalty and secrecy.
In these Illuminati circles, mind control isn’t just for espionage but is a way of life: a method to create heirlooms of power (obedient offspring who will carry on the agenda).
Fritz Springmeier claims that “13 Illuminati bloodlines” control this practice, with entire multigenerational families systematically trained under Monarch.
By the 1960s and 70s, according to survivor accounts, thousands of Monarch slaves were being created – some by government agencies themselves (CIA, military programs like Project Artichoke), others by criminal or cult groups, and still others by elite handlers in entertainment and finance.
The common blueprint was trauma, hypnosis, and occult ritual.
Government mind control projects were officially halted after exposure in 1977 Senate hearings – but many believe Monarch simply went deeper underground, its tendrils quietly spreading into areas like organized child trafficking, cult abuse, and covert operations.
